The Tibetan hellebore ring

Autor: Piotr Zieliński

Winter is the time when much greenery falls asleep. The temperature drops, and in time everything is covered with white fluffy snow. There is, however, a species of flower that does not yield to the rules of winter and blooms despite unfavourable conditions.

The Tibetan hellebore (Helleborus thibetanus) comes from the western, mountainous regions of China, 2000 m above sea level. The life cycle of this flower is opposite to that of other plants. It dies completely in mid-summer, only to reappear before spring arrives.

This flower is a symbol of perseverance, eternal love and peace. It inspired me to create a unique ring. The main binding is in the form of petals surrounding the central stone with a weight of 3 ct. colour E and VVS1 clarity. The band is made of leaves sprinkled with green tsavorite, and is made of solid white 14k gold.

Floral ring made by hand after an interview with a client.
