Emerald is one of the most precious gemstones. Its name comes from the Greek word "smaragdos" - meaning green stone.
This mineral has been used in jewellery since the times of ancient civilizations such as Egypt, Persia, Arabia, as well as being used by the Maya, Aztecs and Inca. The most expensive are stones of high purity and that have a deep, bottle-green color.
The stone for this project, imported from Colombia, is in the shape of a heart. It has excellent colour and very high purity. The binding for it was made to integrate it into a wedding ring wrapped around the stone. There are black diamonds on the wedding ring. The whole is made of black 585 gold.
