Works that can be called “pure arts” such as paintings or sculptures usually receive one specific place especially for them, such as the wall or a pedestal in a favourite place – and they’re usually there for years. For me, creating jewellery is like bringing miniature pieces of art to life, which you can take with you and enjoy – no matter what the situation or where.
Ametrine is a violet-yellow, naturally occurring mineral, being a combination of Amethyst and Citrine. The stone was ordered especially for this project from Bolivia. It is accompanied by pink sapphires which complete the composition and brings lightness to the necklace. It was all hand-made in 750 samples of gold.
