Peacock-shaped ring

Autor: Piotr Zieliński

Peacocks belong to the pheasant family, and are subsequently divided into three species. The best known is the Indian peacock. This blue-green bird is about two metres long, of which half the male's length is accounted for by a showy tail: the train. The train feathers are green and gold, decorated with blue-gold eyespots. The body is covered with blue-green plumage with a metallic sheen.

Considered the national bird of India, the peacock has a monarch-like appeal. It is most famous for showing off its dazzling tail, which spreads like a fabulous fan. No wonder it is considered a sacred animal!

This exceptionally graceful bird became the inspiration for a unique ring. The silhouette of a peacock wraps around the finger, creating a dynamic composition. The dominant feature is the rhythm of the neck and the train, which are directly opposite each other.

A custom-made engagement ring is always based on a design that is created together with the client.

AIn order to achieve the effect of true peacock eyespots, the emeralds are not set in paws yet levitate, as if floating in the air. This was made possible by a specialist company from India, which drilled each stone with a laser. Gold bezels with sapphires were then set into the resulting sockets, creating the characteristic shape of the peacock’s eyespots.

The neck of the bird is decorated with shimmering sapphires and emeralds, giving the illusion of iridescence. The whole piece has been crafted in two-tone gold.
